Northern Water Excursions LLC operates out of International Falls, Minnesota. Being a USCG Captain and certified USCG instructor tied together with over 12 years of retail experience (8 years of General Management) has been advantageous to the working relationships that I have with my partners. My expertise consists of working with detailed merchandising, promotions, introducing new product lines, and participating in radio segments (advertising/fishing shows/event promoter).
Another factor that helps me retain a foothold in the industry is my involvement with the Rainy Lake Sportfishing Club. I am currently the President of the Rainy Lake Sportfishing Club (multi-consecutive terms). This volunteer work has kept me collaborating with the National Parks, Conservation Corps, DNR, MN State Representatives, and local businesses to continue building up the fishery in this area. In addition to that, in 2012 I joined the National Professional Anglers Association (current ID: NPAA #242). This has helped bridge a gap by providing me with an additional source to gain vast knowledge about the fishing industry as a whole.
